About Robertsdale, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Robertsdale is a small town inland from the Eastern Shore area in South Alabama. It was founded in 1905 along the newly finished Louisville & Nashville Railroad spur that went out to Foley. The town was named for B. F. Roberts, one of the officers in the Southern Plantation Corporation that created the city, incorporated in 1921.

At the physical center of south Baldwin County and the intersection of several highways, the town grew 40% between 2000 and 2010, and currently has a population of over five thousand and growing. Robertsdale is located between two metropolitan areas, 35 minutes from Mobile and 50 from Pensacola, and is only 40 minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico and the white sands of Gulf Shores.

There are several municipal parks and walking trails in town, and the surrounding areas have an abundance of natural spaces and outdoor activities. The city has five public schools in the Baldwin County School District, one technology center, and two private schools. The Fairhope branch of the University of South Alabama is only 13 miles away, and Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette is about 25 miles away. Most residents work in retail and manufacturing; nearby manufacturers include Rohr Aero Services, a subsidiary of Goodrich, and Vulcan Materials in Foley.

As an inland city, Robertsdale is about a degree warmer than its neighbors on the Bay, with average highs reaching 91 in the summer and 61 in the winter with rain all year. The mild, wet climate contributes to a lush, green environment throughout all seasons. Every year the city hosts the Baldwin County Fair, a five-day fair held around the Baldwin County Coliseum, which was reconstructed piece by piece from a building torn down in Mobile.
