About Loxley, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Loxley is a tiny, picturesque town in the center of Baldwin County. Although quite small – it has fewer than two thousand residents – it isn't far from the metropolitan areas of Mobile (30 minutes west) and Pensacola (50 minutes southeast).

Because of its small size and its dedicated residents, it has developed into a safe, progressive community with a lot of growth potential. It's also home to the exclusive residential community of Steelwood. As part of the Baldwin County School District, there are an elementary school and a middle school in town. Nearby Robertsdale has a high school and a technology center as well as two private schools.

Although it's tiny, there are still plenty of things to do in Loxley. Steelwood Country Club, whose golf course was designed by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate and is considered to be one of the best in Alabama, hosts many family activities. For the nature-lover and sportsman, Alabama Kayak Adventures offers guided tours and fishing expeditions through the inland estuaries. For more of a thrill, seek out Alligator Alley in nearby Summerdale, which houses alligators rescued from residential areas around the region.

The annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival, over twenty years old, is held every April at the Loxley Municipal Park as a fundraiser for the Association of Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County and Loxley Elementary School. There are also dozens of other festivals in the surrounding cities celebrating arts, crafts, music, and every possible type of produce.
